Chris Webb (Cajun Accordions, guitar,
vocals):
A 25 year resident of
Shreveport, LA, Chris previously played lead guitar in Tried
and True, appearing at all the Region's bluegrass
festivals. For 1998 and 1999, he facilitated the weekly pub
jams at downtown Shreveport's Noble Savage Tavern, a role
which requires instrumental and stylistic versatility. He
is also a member of the variety trio The Surreal McCoys,
with whom he got his first taste of playing Cajun music. He
hopes soon to add to the band some 5 string banjo, which he
has recently taken up. |
Elaine Webb (fiddle, mandolin, vocals):

a graduate of Fair Park H. S. and
Northwestern State University of Louisiana, Elaine is a
violinist with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, who teaches
Orchestra in Caddo Parish public schools, and violin in the
Centenary Suzuki School. She is a member of the Acadian
String Quartet, which performs for many weddings and events in
the area |

Rob Parker (bass, vocals):
born
in Houston, Rob was
raised in Shreveport, attended LSU and the University of
Louisiana at Lafayette and played guitar and bass both in
Baton Rouge and in Lafayette where he became a "born-again
Cajun." Locally, Rob has been a bass player in the Irish
band Scruffy Murphy. |
Joe Agostini (drums & vocals):

Joe started playing drums at 13.
His first "big gig" was the 1964 World's Fair in New York. That
was it, he was hooked. During his career he has shared the
stage with many local, regional, and national acts. He also
anchored the house bands at many Shreveport area nightclubs and
attended the legendary Lakeside School of Music on Milam Street
in Shreveport. While living in Lafayette he fell in love with
not only Cajun Music but all music with a "Louisiana Sound." |
